Integration model
How BookingEdge connects to a partner
We build each connector from the partner's official specification only, run it against the partner's test environment, and go live after the partner's certification.
Source of truth
Room types, rate plans with meal plans, nightly prices, occupancy pricing, inventory and restrictions are held per property in BookingEdge.
ARI push
Changes are queued in the same transaction as the change, merged per room type and date range, and pushed with retries and backoff.
Reservations
New, modified and cancelled bookings are processed idempotently on the partner's booking id and revision, and acknowledged.
Monitoring
A request log, error reporting and periodic full re-sync per property and channel.
Security
How we protect partner and guest data
Credentials
API credentials issued to BookingEdge are stored encrypted per property and are never shown back in the interface. We never store or use extranet passwords.
Access control
Tenant isolation on every request, per-property staff access, role permissions and a full activity log.
Card data
BookingEdge does not store payment card numbers. Card payments are handled by the payment provider or the partner's own payment model.
